We have had some great student projects come in already this year. I love to see what kids come up with when they use their imaginations. It is great to see them making use of what they have available. Any creative endeavor they can conceive of is time well spent.
King City has the only grant in California competing for the Farmers Insurance Dream Big Challenge!
The grant is worth $100,000 and will be used to create an after-school digital art program for all of our elementary schools.
We are going to need a lot of support! We are competing against two other proposals. One in Nevada and one in Arizona. Both these other two proposals are from very large areas. (Near Las Vegas and Pheonix)
We are going to need people all over California to get voting every day if we are going to succeed in bringing this money to California kids.
You can help by voting every day at www.thankamillionteachers.com

You help is NEEDED and would be greatly appreciated!
We started with EnVision math Topic 2-1 today. Missing parts of 6 and 7. This is a lesson with dog bowls and bones. It talks about the part we know and the missing part (the part we can't see because it is in the bowl.)
This is a screen capture from the Promethean Board as we talked about it.
Here are some pictures the students made on their white boards.
Here is a student explaining what he did.
